Wayne has extensive trial, civil procedure interlocutory applications and appellate experience both as sole advocate and being led as junior counsel acting for private and institutional clients at all levels of court and in arbitration proceedings.

Wayne has a broad, predominantly civil and commercial practice with an emphasis on contract, enforcement proceedings, land, money lenders and mortgagee action, personal injuries, professional negligence (including medical negligence) and tort.

Wayne also has a busy practice in family, probate, employment, conveyancing and building management matters. He is also regularly instructed by private clients for criminal defence matters as well as by the Department of Justice as fiat counsel to prosecute on various criminal cases.

In addition, Wayne has sat as a Deputy Presiding Officer at the Labour Tribunal and as a Deputy Adjudicator at the Small Claims Tribunal.

Wayne is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
